New housing
development |
If new housing
development were allowed, conversion of redundant buildings was the
most favoured option cited by half of respondents. The next most
popular option was for the building of single dwellings. Nearly half
of respondents thought that new housing should be for people with a
local connection followed by homes for young people and small
families. |

Preservation of
landscape features within the villages |
Most respondents
felt that existing landscape features within the Parish needed
preservation. Specifically, in order of popularity, these were
Radwell Green, Felmersham Green by the bus shelter opposite Church,
children’s play area near Pinchmill Lower School, Jubilee Lawn, Old
Cricket Field, Church End and Town Lot allotments. |
Ensure that the
Parish Design Statement includes the preservation of these features as
well as the green spaces inside and outside the existing definition of
the Village Envelopes. |
