A letter from the chairman of Felmersham & Radwell Community Care

Everybody needs good neighbours and friends, and never more so when life in our village communities is changing so fast. That is why Felmersham and Radwell organised their own village care scheme in 1997, in order to extend any existing help offered by family and friends in an organised way through local village volunteers.

Beneficiaries have varied from elderly and isolated persons, to parents with young children who may need short-term help.

Joint ventures have been undertaken with other local organisations to promote a link with residents and encourage a stronger community spirit.

To use this service, telephone us on: 07786 344176 leaving your name, message and telephone number. We will return your call as soon as possible. Our volunteers are registered with the Criminal Records Bureau, and have Enhanced Disclosure Certificate. All our volunteers carry Community Care Identity Cards.

Should you be unsure sure whether or not we could help you, then give us a ring anyway. If we cannot help, then maybe know someone who can.
